Pascal Marty is a dancer and choreographer from France. Undertaking his formative training at the National Conservatoire of Montpellier, upon graduation he joined the Ballet Junior de Genève. While there, he created original roles in the work of luminaries of European contemporary dance Alexander Ekman and Andonis Foniadakis, while performing existing repertoire by Stijn Celis, Itzik Gallili and Gustavo Ramirez Sansanno.
He then moved to Saarbrücken, dancing as a soloist with the Donlon Dance Company and performing in the works of Marguerite Donlon across the globe. At the invitation of the director of GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, Pascal made the transition to Sweden where he has been based since 2015.
Most recently Pascal has been working with Karas/ Saburo Teshigawara as a guest dancer and co-creator in Japan, performing with Teshigawara himself at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater.
As a choreographer, Pascal’s work explores the intricacies and inconsistencies of the human condition.
