During the early part of his career Kevin performed
and toured regionally across NSW and QLD with Dance North in works
by Jane Pirani, Troy Mundy, Jason Pitt and Gavin Webber.
Throughout the past 3 years in Sydney he has
continued to work on his own choreographic practice which has included
the development and presentation of his work Saving Face
which won 'Best New Talent' in Short and Sweet + Dance 2009.
Kevin received funding from Western Sydney Dance
Action (WASDA) for a site specific dance/media work to be shown
in full at The River Beats Festival in Parramatta in 2010. The stage
one development, in which he danced and choreographed, was conducted
in 2009 as a collaborative process with visual artist Chrissie Lanssen.
As a performer Kevin most recently worked with
choreographer Tim Farrar in A Few Things of the Same Kind which
won 'Most Outstanding Choreography' award at Short & Sweet +
Dance 2010. He also performed and toured in Graham Murphy's production
of Aida for Opera Australia and danced in the film adaptation
of Mao's Last Dancer.
