Christopher Hewitt was brought up in a household surrounded in dance.

After turning his back on the dance world at age twelve,
it wasn’t until seventeen he discovered the love for
dance once more.

Chris began his professional training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and continued his studies at the Sunshine Coast Academy of Dance Arts gaining a diploma in Performing Arts (Dance and Dramatic Arts). Christopher graduated from the Adelaide Centre for the Arts in 2007 completing a bachelor of Dance Performance.

Throughout the course of his studies and since graduating, Chris has choreographed and performed in works for the Adelaide Fringe Festival, South Australian Living Artists Festival, South Australian Children’s Ballet Company and Four Larks Theatre Company (Melbourne).

Chris has been a sessional teacher and course
co-ordinator at the Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE running classes in Ballet, Contemporary and composition techniques.
