It's a Boy Thing is a spontaneous, slightly off-the-wall dance work first performed in the 2001 Feast Festival and again at the 2002 Gay Games.

Describing It's a Boy Thing, Leigh likened it to that favourite male-bonding experience, footy - but without the injuries. "Think of it as being like football to music,'' he said. It's also boys doing boy things - it's shaving, sport and sex… and guys getting in touch with their feminine side in dangerously high heels and wigs. We aimed to make it "spunky and good humoured" Leigh said.
